Myskowski & Matthews COVID-19 Update

Much has changed since our last update regarding our firm’s response to COVID-19, both globally and here in New Hampshire.

In light of the stay at home order issued by Governor Sununu last week, we—like everyone in the state—have had to make major adjustments to how our business operates. In addition to continuing to work remotely as much as we are able and holding meetings by phone, we are now also able to hold document signing meetings via video conference (so long as you are able to have two witnesses present with you as you sign). These procedures will remain in place through May 4th.

We understand that these times are unsettling, and that the uncertainty of how this pandemic will continue to progress may have brought estate planning to the forefront of your mind. If you have questions about your existing documents or would like to make any changes, please reach out via phone or email so we can set up a time to review your existing estate plan with you. If you do not have an estate plan in place and would like to set one up, we can help with that as well! Get in touch with us and we can discuss whether a simple will or trust is best for you, go over financial powers of attorney, and make sure you have a New Hampshire Advance Directive in place that aligns with your healthcare wishes.
